Day 1

Day 1: ARRIVE LEH

Arrival Leh Kushok Bakula Airport (This must be one of the Most Sensational Flights in the World. On a clear day from one side of the aircraft can be seen in the distance the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and on the other side of the aircraft, so close that you feel you could reach out and touch it, is the Nun Kun massif.) Upon arrival you will met by MT representative and transfer to Hotel for Check in. Complete day for rest and leisure to acclimatize followed by Welcome tea or Coffee at the Hotel.

Day 2

Day 2: LEH – EXCURSION TO SHAM VALLEY (50 KMS / 03-04 HRS )

After breakfast you drive downstream along the River Indus on Leh – Kargil Highway. And start our sightseeing with Hall Of Fame (Museum Constructed by India Army) near Leh is worth a visit for every Indian, and proceed further to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib at an altitude of 3600 Mtrs about 22 Kms from Leh was constructed in memory of Guru Nanak Dev ji Nestled deep in the Himalayas, A drive of another 4 km took us to Magnetic Hill which defies the law of gravity. As you move ahead from Magnetic Hills, just before Nimmu Village, there comes a famous Confluence Of Two Rivers Indus River coming from Tibet (left) and Zanskar River coming from Zanskar Valley (right). Zanskar River is known for its famous Chadar Trek. Later we drive back to Leh. Evening visit to Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa & Leh Market.Overnight at Hotel.

Day 3

Day 3: LEH–NUBRA VALLEY VIA KHARDUNG LA 18,390 FT. (120 KMS / 4 – 5 HRS)

Post breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley. The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road In The World) at 5,602 Mtrs / 18,390 Ft, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level. Upon arrival in Nubra we check in at our Camp / Hotel in Hunder for Overnight stay. In the evening you can walk around the tiny villages to see how the locals live in this part of the world. A visit to a Ladakhi home can be arranged. Overnight Stay at the Camp or Hotel.

Day 4

Day 4: NUBRA VALLEY TO PANGONG LAKE (170 KMS / 7 HRS)

After an early breakfast we check out from Camp or hotel and drive towards Hunder where you have opportunity to ride on a bacterian camel (double humped) amidst the sand dunes of this high altitude desert with snowcapped mountains on the horizon. Between Hunder and Diskit you come across sand dunes besides the road. Seen in isolation you could well be amongst the sand dunes of the Thar Desert in Rajasthan. It is indeed a strange sight since immediately on the left of the road is Rocky Mountains that characterize the Ladakhi landscape and in the distance can be seen snow-capped mountains. On the return stop at Diskit which is the headquarter town of Nubra Valley. Stroll around the bazaar observing the shops and local people going about their daily chores. Diskit is famous for 515 years old Buddhist Monastery, lying magnificently situated on a hilltop, facing the entire Valley. Later we drive towards Pangong Tso via Agham & Shyok Valley. Some of the road patches in areas are extremely tough (towards nubra side) in terms of road conditions but no doubt the journey is very scenic! Later after crossing this adventurous part we drive further towards Durbuk & Tangtse for Pangong you pass through few small villages of Changthang and finally you can have a sudden view of the Pangong lake situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 133 Kms long with half of its running the other side of the “Indo China Border”. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. After the success of 3 Idiots, this beautiful natural location has attracted more tourists from all over the world. Upon arrival we check in at our Camp Near Pangong lake. Dinner & Overnight at the Camp.

Day 5

Day 5: PANGONG LAKE TO LEH VIA CHANGLA (140 KMS / 6 HRS)

Morning at leisure to explore the beauty of lake and later we drive back to Leh via Changla Pass 5486 Mtrs enroute visiting Hemis Gompa, the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism. And futher to Thiksey an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village and another 5 Kms driving through a picturesque landscape we reach to Shey Palace, The ancient capital of Ladakh &3 Idiots Rancho School. Drive further to Leh and check in at our hotel for Overnight

Day 6

Day 6: LEH (AT LEISIRE)

LEH – STOK & HIKE TO STOK GEORGE(PACKED LUNCH & PROFESSIONAL GUIDE) – OPTIONAL Morning drive to Stok and visit Stok Palace, Stok lies 15 kms. South of Leh on the opposite side of the singe Tsangspo River. The castle was built on a hill at the end of village in about the year 1825 by King Tsespal Tondup Namgyal. In stok there is also the sacred monastery of Gurphug, a branch of Spituk Monastery. After visiting the stok palace we take a hike to beautiful Stok George. Later we hike back to Leh. Evening at Leisure to explore the city on your own. Dinner & Overnight at the Hotel

Day 7

Day 7: DEPART LEH (FLY OUT)

Tour concludes. Travel Mitro thanks you for your patronage and ensures a punctual transfer to Domestic Airport to catch the flight for your onward Destination.

Useful Tips

  • Vehicles in Hill Areas – Even if you opt for AC vehicle, in hill stations AC is non-operational to avoid damage or mid-trip break down of the vehicle for your own convenience. Also, in several hill areas, commercial vehicles are not allowed to play music to prevent accidents
  • Airline seats and hotel rooms are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
  • In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangement for an alternate accommodation will be made in a hotel of similar standard.
  • A maximum of 3 adults are allowed in one room & the third occupant of the room shall be provided a mattress/rollaway bed.
  • Transportation shall be provided as per the itinerary.The itinerary is fixed and cannot be modified, in case of any changes post confirmation additional cost may be applicable on the basis of changes done (to be borne by the customer)
  • Itinerary changes are subjected to availability of tours, weather conditions and operational possibilities
  • Any Tour if missed due to closure or maintenance issues, all efforts will be made to cover the sightseeing, time permitting.
  • Due to operational reasons, the routing of the tour may be amended. However, all mentioned services will remain unchanged.
  • As Leh is the base town for all connecting towns in Ladakh, there is a possibility that a few sightseeing will be mentioned multiple times in the itinerary, it is up to the customer if he wishes to see the same again, time permitting. However no refund will be provided in case the same has not been covered the second time, as no additional amount is being charged for the same.
  • It is advisable to get a health check- up done prior to travel to Ladakh, as well as carry appropriate & required medicine as advised. At the time of booking, it will be assumed that the suggested health check up has been done/ will be done by the customer prior to travel.
  • Please note after booking, no changes in the itinerary will be possible.
  • If your flights involve a combination of different airlines, you may have to collect your luggage on arrival at the connecting hub and register it again while checking in for the return journey to your origin.
  • At the time of check-in to your hotel, hotel may ask you to make an advance/security deposit (amount depends upon hotel policy). This amount is refunded at the time of check-out, minus the cost of any items taken from the mini-bar or other charges (like late check-out or any damages done to the accommodation).
  • For queries regarding cancellations and refunds, please refer to our Cancellation Policy.
  • Disputes, if any, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore.
  • We reserve the right to issue a full refund in case we believe that we are unable to fulfil the services for any technical reasons.

  • There will be no refund for unused nights or early check-out (In case of Medical condition it completely depends on hotel policy).
  • Check-in and check-out times at hotels would be as per hotel policies. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.
  • The price does not include expenses of personal nature, such as laundry, telephone calls, room service, alcoholic beverages, mini bar charges, tips, portage, camera fees etc.
  • We reserve the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to: Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels / flights, cancellation / re-routing of flights, closure of / entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.
  • In case a flight gets cancelled, we will not be liable to provide any alternate flights within the same cost, any additional cost incurred for the same shall be borne by the traveler.

Payment Policy

  • Reservation amount has to be paid upfront for us to start confirming your package.
  • Full flight amount (if flights included) and any non-refundable hotel amount has to be paid within 3 days of booking.
  • Balance payment (if any) needs to be completed 21 days prior to travel.
  • For travel in less than 21 days from booking, complete payment must be received within 24 hours of booking.
  • You can pay using credit cards, debit cards, net banking, PayPal, NEFT, IMPS, RTGS, SWIFT or deposit cash Rs 1,99,000/- in adhereance to Income Tax ACT.
  • We charge non-refundable financing fees for overdue amounts:
    • Financing charges: 1% per day of pending amount, compounding per day
    • Processing charges for financing: 5% per week of pending amount or INR 10,000 per week, whichever is lower; from 2nd week.
  • We reserve the right to cancel your trip without notice after due date. Any cancellation costs will be borne by you.
  • If the above-mentioned payment terms are not followed, we will not be held responsible for any change made in the package itinerary due to non-availability of flights, Hotels, Ferry etc.
  • There might be an increase in total package cost offered at the time of bookings in case the payments are not received by us as per the terms mentioned and the extra cost need to be borne by the guest.
  • We will never ask you to pay in a personal account. Please always pay using our website or in our company bank account.

Hotel Policy

  • Date of booking to 31 days before travel the cancellation charges will be 25% of the tour cost
  • 30 to 16 days before travel – cancellation charges will be 50% of the tour cost
  • 15 to 8 days before travel – cancellation charges will be 75% of the tour cost
  • 0 to 7 days before travel – cancellation charges will be 100% of the tour cost. No refund shall be given
  • Please Note: Cancellation policy is subject to change. It depends on the hotel policy.
  • In peak season (example: long weekends, festival season, summer vacation etc.) most of the hotels charge 100% cancellation.
  • There will also be cancellation/amendment facilitation fee of Rs 2,500 per person (for Domestic Package) and Rs 5,000 per person (for International Package)
